Urgent system maintainence

Our German technology suppliers have advised that on Thursday 16 November 2017,10 am - Thursday 16 November, 2 pm our databases will be getting some important upgrades. It is expected that the system will not be offline for the whole time of maintenance. Nextbike Smart Bike trial launched

Christchurch has become the first city in the Southern Hemisphere to trial new smart bikes that could revolutionise public transport. Transport Minister Simon Bridges unveiled the next bike “Smart Bikes: at the Christchurch City Council’s Civic Offices and help launch the trial with Christchurch Mayor Lianne Dalziel and other invited guests. Nextbike visits New Zealand

Nextbike NZ and Christchurch Bike Share and hosted a visit by Sebastian Schlebusch, Director of International Business Development from nextbike GmbH (Germany). Sebastian toured Christchurch, visited the Spark Bike pilot, and spoke to guests from around New Zealand about bringing bike share to life in New Zealand.
